Carotid artery procedure is done to restore proper blood flow to the brain. Blood flow in this artery can become partly or totally blocked by fatty material called plaque. This can reduce the blood supply to your brain and cause a stroke.

When the nasolacrimal duct, the tube which drains tears into the nose, is blocked a procedure is usually required. During this procedure, called a DCR (Dacryocystorhinostomy), a hole is created between the tear sac and the inside of the nose.
